Assistive technology for visually impaired

 Visual impaired is defined as " The consequence of a functional loss of vision rather than the eye disorder itself". There are four major types of visual impairments. They are 

  1. Partially blind
  2. Low vision
  3. Legally blind
  4. Totally blind
There are many causes of birth of children with visual impairment. Some of the causes are listed below 
  • Transfer of genes associated from the parents
  • Carelessness adopted by pregnant mother
  • Unfavorable Conditions .i.e. malnutrition, accident etc
  • Eye infections and eye diseases
  • Improper lights
