THOUGHT
Thought can refer to ideas Or arrangements of ideas that result from thinking, the act of Producing thoughts Or the process of producing thoughts. Although thoughts are the fundamental human activity familiar to everyone, there is no generally accepted agreement as to what thought is Or how it is created. Thoughts are the result Or product of either spontaneous Or willed acts of thinking.
Thoughts are mental cognitions, they are
- Our own ideas
- Our opinions
- Beliefs about ourself
- The world around us.
They include the perspectives we bring to any situation or experience, which color our point of view ( for better, worse or neutral). There are three types of thought pathological, logical and psychological.
PATHOLOGICAL THOUGHT
Pathological thinking does not see itself. When it starts to see itself, it dissolves, like a witch in water. Pathological thinking is mixed with emotion, and it is the (unrecognized) emotions that directs it.
LOGICAL THOUGHT
Logical thinking works without emotion. It works by comparison, yes or no, either/ or. It seeks conclusion, decision between two opposing choices. It is impartial, non - subjective. It works like a computer, composed of bits, dissecting but never understanding.
PSYCHOLOGICAL THOUGHT
Psychological thinking is intellect in harmony with emotion. It is aware of itself. When that awareness vanishes, so does the cooperation of thought and feeling. Thought then becomes logical, pathological, or disappears entirely.
