GROWTH
The term growth denotes a net increase in the size, Or mass of the tissue. It is largely attributed to multiplication of cells and increases in the intracellular substance.
DEVELOPMENT
Development refers to a process of change in growth and capability over time, as function of both maturation and interaction with the environment.
STAGES OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
Growth and development are a set of functional skills Or age - specific tasks that children in general can perform at a specific age. The stages of growth and development are closely integrated with one another. Each stage will greatly affect the next stage.

- Intellectual development
- Emotional development
- Social development
- Moral development
