Multidisciplinary intervention A multidisciplinary intervention team approach, Including the integration of values, perspective, and ideas gives an accurate decision- making process in identifying the Academic, social and vocational needs of the child to develop an individualised education program that will meet the needs of the students with disability. This particular team functions to support students in the special education and related services. The multidisciplinary curriculum is one in which the same topic is studied from the view point of more then one discipline.
Classification of children with differently abled
All children with differently abled are Categorized under four types they are as follows
- MILD with the IQ scores from 55 to 70
- MODERATE with the IQ scores from 40 to 54
- SEVERE with the IQ scores from 25 to 39
- PROFOUND with the IQ scores below 25
- Educable
- Trainable
- Managable
- Custodial
