The role of the parents is to note whether the developmental milestones of the baby is properly undergoing Or not. If their is come delays or lacking in such developmental milestones the parents should immediately need to consult the doctors. Here I listing the month wise developmental milestones of the baby. 1 MONTH
  • Lifts head when lying on tummy 
  • Responds to sounds
2 MONTH 
  • Follows items with eyes 
  • Holds up for short periods 
3 MONTH
  • Smiles and laughs 
  • Tracks moving 
  • Objects with his eyes 
4 MONTH
  • Coos in conversation 
  • Can recognise people and objects 
5 MONTH
  • Plays with own hands and feet
  • Distinguished bold colors
6 MONTH
  • Imitates sounds 
  • Turns to sound and voices 
7 MONTH
  • First tooth appears 
  • Experience stranger anxiety
8 MONTH
  • Says " Mama" And "dada"
  • Able to coordinate between hands 
9 MONTH
  • Knows object exists even if invisible to the child 
  • Study's himself standing 
10 MONTH 
  • Crawls well with belly off the ground 
  • Waves goodbye 
11 MONTH
  • Can stood for a few seconds
  • Understands simple directions
12 MONTH
  • Indicates wants with gestures
  • Imitates others activity 
18 Month 
  • String together simple phrases
  • Imitates reading board books 
24 MONTH
  • Can walk down stairs
  • Half of speech is understandable
